one project down

so here is the shawl before blocking.. im not sure I like it but its not for me anyways lol

so I have about 35 more rows on my shawl left to do, my mother fell in love with it so it will become hers lol.. I started on the scarf for the internationl scarf exchange, about half done and I just love it.. its done in cascade highland peruvian wool, the yarn has flecks of color in it but it doesnt show unless you have it really close to your face (its really subtle) I like it a lot and I hope my pal will as well :)

so I'm on a shawl kick, here is another one that I am working on, pattern from elann, can't remember the name. im halfway done with it and doing it in knitpicks palette, of course i bought the sampler thing so i only have one ball of each color, so it will be grey, light grey, white.. so far i'm liking it and its keeping me busy while i wait to get the yarn for the internationl scarf exchange scarf im making :)

xmas stuff

so I'm starting xmas stuff so that I will have them finished in time lol here is a shawl i crocheted, pattern was from elann, i love it!!! so quick and since my sister likes funky stuff, i was able to just use all my yarn leftovers. making another one all in a burgandy color, should be finished this weekend

baby stuff

so its been awhile, I finally got a picture of my new baby in the bunting that my mother inlaw anne knitt for him.. isnt it cute??

Knit and stuff

so when we were shopping for homes.. I said "as long as I can put Mickey Mouse on my wall, I'm happy" so I finally got to do it!!!! Here is the unfinished product, I still need to outline it in black and put stars on the blue.. But I was very impressed with my husbands drawing skills LOL ( he had to draw it on the wall first LOL )

also I have decided that I HAD to knit something.. I was feeling too much like a milk cow LOL pumping constantly so I made time to knit yesterday.. Here is what I am working on. Not sure if I will make it a shawl or just a baby blanket for one of the other new babies arriving in my family this year.

Baby Bryce

well not alot of knitting going on here.. We had our new addition arrive on July 3rd at 3:56am weighing 7.2lbs. Bryce Allen Turner is his name :) He decided that he was going to get at big sister Eryka from the get go and be born on her 10th birthday!!! She was not too impressed at the begining, but now shes pretty happy about it and will not leave him alone!! lol anyways, here is a picture I took of him this morning

hexegon skirt

well I finally finished the hexegon skirt for my twin, just in time for our brithday bash this weekend.. I'm sure she will just love it because its just trippy looking lol here it is

of course all the girls are just in love with him, eryka and nikki had to get a pic together holding him... and then Jayda of course wasnt about to be left out of the baby holding session lol

well here is the newest addition to the family, Jami had her baby on friday 3-24,
7lbs 8oz, 19 1/4 inches long, born at 6p.m.

Long time no blog

Ya, I know, its been a long time...

News :) I am finally moving into a brand new house this weekend... And I am soooo excited!!!! I haven't been up to much else lately. I did start a pair of socks a couple of weeks ago, but those are on hold until I finish packing and unpacking.

Trysten turned 4 successfully today LOL MR. NO FEAR lived to see another year LOL, My twins baby will be here in a few weeks, and my twin and I will turn 30 in about 9 days LOL yippeeee..

As for my new addition, I will find out what we are having in a couple of weeks.
All this excitement, its no wonder I haven't been able to sleep lately!!

Happy Thanks giving!!, Hope everyone's holiday was safe and fun. We had a good time, had a lot of people in our little apartment :) and a great dinner!!

We are searching for a house to buy, and will hopefully be out of this dam apartment by Feb LOL

Also, we are expecting another baby!!! Yep, that will make 4 kids (and the last one) I will be taking the light bulbs out of the easy bake oven as soon as this one arrives LOL.

I am working on a cabled kimono sweater, got the pattern from knit picks, I am really liking, and hope I get it done in the next few months so I can see if it will fit me.

Well happy holidays, I am off to knit some more and stare at the little bit of snow we got last night :)

* A really good comeback (that wont get me in trouble) to the soccer mom who replies "I thought I paid my child's registration fee" when it was due in May

* new jammy pants (Mickey ones are ripped)
* The answer key to ALL of my child's 4th grade homework (been too long, cant remember how to do it)
* A day at a spa
* A dinner party with ALOT of people
* A beer
* No sex (lol everyone was putting sex, I wish to not have it!! atleast for a week :) lol )

neck sock

so a friend asked for some neck socks, sounded easy enough lol took me sooo long to get it to actually fit!!! So now that I have the concept down, I made one for Jami and picked up stitches and did the scar tails. So its an illusion :) looks like a scarf, but will actually stay around your neck !!! So of course I had to make the wrist warmers to go with it.
I used angel hair yarn (really soft, I thinks it has rayon in it)

at the moment I am working on making that hexagon skirt in the vogue knitting mag, I'm using bright neonish colors.. Its getting kinda fun:) and I am pretty glad I won't be the one wearing it lol

happy anniversary to me!!!

long weekend, had my anniversary on friday.. dinner party on saturday, just plain beat on sunday lol here is what my wonderful hubby got me :)

well hello everyone!! still stuck in the soccer gig.. not getting much knitting done. I am now coaching our Girls U10 team, the girls are still coming up a name.. us moms thought Spitfire would be cool... but nope all the 9 year old girls thought that meant you spit on people lol

Then newest baby in the family (my twins daughter) baby jazz is growing like a weed, she is now three months old. She will be one on May 4th, and here is the reason i bring this up lol. my twin, jami is now pregnant again, her new due date is March 24th.. yep they wont even be a year apart!!!!! all i could come up with is "im glad its not me" lol

On another note.. today is my 5 year anniversary!!! That just flew by lol two kids later :) my wonderful husband knowing my obsession with mickey mouse gave me a beautiful silver classic looking mickey mouse watch.. i just love it!!! we are off to his company picnic today, hopefully some alone time on sunday. we are throwing a dinner party tomorrow night for a friend of ours, so so much for quiet that day :)

so soccer has consumed me, and will until middle august. I have gotten some things done though :) which really surprises me!!

I quit my job (not enough money for the abuse lol ) I have one week left whoo hooo!!!

I corcheted a outfit for miss eryka for her birthday.. its made of god awful bright colors and she absolutly loves it.

I also knit a hat with ear flaps and string hanging down from the top, took a whole hour to do lol but eryka wanted a funky hat :) sorry to say my camera screen has broken inside, so i can take pics but not see them until i download them.. so im trying to perfect the bling picture lol

Hope everyone is having fun in knitting land, hope to see the knitt group sometime soon (probably not until august)
