busy weekend

OK so needless to say it was a long weekend, we had grandmothers parties.. yep there were three, two on Saturday and one on Sunday which just happened to be my anniversary.. on Friday.. after being induced Thursday afternoon.. Heather, my oldest daughter's (eryka)step mom had a c-section and had her baby around 8:30am..
He is 11 lbs 10 oz 22inches long... sooo cute! CONGRATS HEATHER AND KYLE!!

so I went to my grandmothers 80th birthday party on saturday.. it was like a family reunion... there were 98 people for lunch at anthonys homeport in edmonds, I knew about 30 of them.. and about 80 of them knew me.. isnt that fun? lol my mother told everyone about the socks i made and i had this one with me.. now I have 5 orders for the socks lol.. see, I quit my job, now I have a new one lol knitting socks!

I just finished the socks! LOVE THEM .. don't much like the colors, but thats alright cuz I'm giving them to my mom on sat.

this is the Entrelac socks by Eunny Jang in the interweave knits spring 2007, im using gossamer from knitpicks.. in blue jeans and some pink one lol can't remember the name.. but I am loving these!!
